Concreting in Woodend

Woodend sits at the top end of our service area and we like working up here. It’s a town with a lot of character, a strong mix of older period homes around the centre and more recent tree-changer builds further out. We’ve poured driveways behind hedges on the old streets near the station, exposed aggregate entertaining areas for newer builds further out, and a fair share of rural slabs once you head out toward the back roads.

The climate up the top of the ranges asks a bit more of concrete: cold mornings, hot dry summers, and proper rainfall in between. We pour with that in mind, get the curing right, and seal where it makes sense so the surface holds up.
